Wellness Triennial Assessment
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) requires that each school district participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP) complete an assessment of their local school wellness policy (LSWP) at least once every three years. The district's assessment must indicate:
- the extent to which schools are in compliance with the district policy;
- the extent to which the local wellness policy compares to model local school wellness policies; and
- the progress made in attaining the goals of the local wellness policy.
Districts are then required to make the triennial assessment and their document plan available to the public. Below you can find the information for Rocky Hill Public Schools Wellness Assessment completed in October 2022. If you have any questions please reach out to the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, Ms. Darlene Listro.
