Vision
The Rocky Hill Public Schools believe in the development of competent, ethical, healthy, responsible, and intellectually reflective citizens who demonstrate high levels of achievement in critical academic domains, and can develop their interests and aptitudes in an atmosphere that respects the differences of others and values learning as a life-long pursuit.

 

District Mission
The Rocky Hill Public Schools are committed to providing an educational environment in which all students discover and achieve their maximum potential in preparation for productive meaningful lives and responsible citizenship.

 

Goals
All Rocky Hill students will demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and mastery of communications skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening), mathematics, physical/life sciences and social studies. All Rocky Hill students will demonstrate a basic understanding and appreciation for the fine arts, technology, health and fitness, and career options. All Rocky Hill students will develop habits conducive to health, personal responsibility, and good citizenship essential for living cooperatively and productively in an increasingly complex world. All Rocky Hill students will explore and develop their aptitudes and interests through an expanding array of opportunities in academics, athletics, arts, extracurricular areas, and community service options.
